PLAY AT RALLY
Come as
you are.
Rally sessions are a simple way to get on the court, meet people, and play. Come on your own, with a friend, or with a group. You don’t need to already know the community to be part of it.
Session details, including time, location, cost, and availability, are shared with each session. We’re keeping things simple as Rally grows, with a focus on making play as affordable and accessible as we can.
BEFORE YOU COME
Get ready.
We’ll have the court set up with nets and balls. All you need are clean, non-scuffing indoor shoes and a paddle if you have one.
Don’t have a paddle yet? We may have a few to share, but availability isn’t guaranteed.
OPEN PLAY, TOGETHER
Jump into
a game.
When a court opens up, players are welcome to join in and get a game going. Doubles is the usual format because it helps more people play and keeps courts moving. Singles or practice can happen when courts are open and nobody is waiting.
Coming solo is welcome. Volunteers and Rally leaders can help you get started, but part of open play is connecting with the people around you. Introduce yourself, say hello, and let people know you’re looking to join a game. If you see an open court, asking “Mind if I join?” is a great place to start.
PLAY GUIDELINES
Play fair.
Be kind.
- 01
Share the court.
Rotate in when people are waiting, keep warm-ups short, and expect doubles when it’s busy.
- 02
Play with others.
Mix it up when you can, invite people in, and help everyone find a game.
- 03
Respect the space.
Follow venue rules and any directions shared for the session.
- 04
Be kind.
Treat people with respect, on and off the court. If something feels unsafe or unwelcoming, talk to a Rally volunteer or leader.
QUICK FAQ
Good to
know.
Where and when does Rally play?
Locations and times vary by session. Check upcoming play sessions for current dates, locations, pricing, and availability.
View play sessionsWill Rally have memberships?
That’s something we’re exploring as the community grows. For now, we’re keeping things simple and focusing on great play sessions while learning what works best for the Rally community.
Can I play if I’m under 18?
Not through Rally’s current sessions. We are starting with participants 18 and over while we build the right safety, consent, and booking foundation for younger players. We want Rally to welcome more people over time, and we will share an update when we can safely accommodate younger participants.
Do I need to know how to play pickleball?
No. If it’s your first time, introduce yourself to a Rally volunteer or organizer when you arrive and we’ll help you get started and find people to play with. We encourage everyone at Rally to welcome new players, and a quick hello helps us know when someone could use a hand.
Can I bring my own group?
Yes. Come on your own, with a friend, or with a group. Rally sessions are shared community play, so expect to mix in and play with others too.
How can I get involved beyond playing?
Rally is being built with the community, and we’re working on more ways for people to volunteer, contribute, and support what comes next. If you’d like to get involved now, get in touch.
